Volunteer Program Improvement Plan Workshop
Wednesday, March 27, 2024 9:00AM to 11:30 AM at the Banana Factory
Looking to improve your volunteer program effectiveness and attract talented volunteers? Participate in this interactive workshop for organization leadership to work collaboratively with the volunteer engagement professional. This program will help you evaluate your current volunteer program and identify action steps for improvement.
This workshop will include:
- A volunteer program assessment to help you make informed decisions about where to focus change efforts.
- A facilitated and guided gap analysis process to identify action steps and priorities for the organization to tackle.
- A workbook to keep notes and a record of the process.
Program expectations
- Participation from both leadership & volunteer engagement professional (can be a board member and Executive Director for volunteer led, small, or start-up organizations).
- Complete assessment prior to workshop in given timeframe.
- Full participation during the workshop – open to new ideas, be creative, leadership and volunteer engagement professionals are partners during the workshop, practice active listening.
- After workshop, commitment to work on identified action items.
Program costs
Volunteer Center Member Rate for 2 participants: $60 total*
Non-member rate for 2 participants: $75 total*
Additional participants from your organization: $30 each
