Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the 19th century Quiet Valley farmstead, as a part of Pennsylvania’s rich agricultural heritage. The vision of Quiet Valley is: To ensure the preservation of the structures and farm lands that comprise Quiet Valley farm, a continuing use family farm for more than 130 years. To develop educational programs, conduct research and offer recreational opportunities designed to deepen the public’s appreciation and knowledge of local, state and regional farm history with emphasis on Pennsylvania German folkways To bring to life the events of the past to speak to the present for the benefit of the future To encourage partnerships with other learning communities, including underserved populations To promote sustainable practices for healthy lifestyles and encourage environmentally sound choices To foster and promote public knowledge of and interest in sites of local historical and cultural significance with particular reference to preserving the dignity and beauty of the Beaver Valley area of Monroe County, Pennsylvania
