Mega Basket Raffle Ticket Pullers!
🚪 Door Policy

Doors close to the public at 4 PM, and will reopen at 5:30 PM (or sooner if ticket-pulling wraps up early).

🎟️ Volunteer Instructions (3 PM – 8 PM)
To keep things smooth and organized, here’s how our raffle ticket-pulling runs:
🕒 3:00 PM – 3:40 PM: Volunteer Setup & Placement

Sign up through Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley and receive 1 sheet (25 tickets) as a thank-you!

Use the time before 3:40 PM to enter your raffle tickets into the basket drawing.
🎲 Ticket-Pulling Teams (4:00 PM)
We have over 400 prizes, so we run several volunteer teams. Each team handles 4 key tasks:

Ticket Puller
-
Empty raffle tickets into a bucket, mix, and pick one.

Discard any crumpled, rolled, or manipulated tickets and pick a new one.

Basket Labeler
-
Tape the winning ticket to the correct basket.

Trash Attendant
-
Throw away the remaining tickets from the ticket batch.

Recorder
-
Log the basket number and winning ticket on the provided sheet.

✅ Final Step After All Tickets Are Pulled

We need volunteers at the exit door to cross-check each basket winner’s ticket before they leave.

- One person-Dump tickets from the paperbags into a bucket, mix and pull a ticket.
- ***Any ticket that is crumpled, rolled or otherwise manipulated will be thrown out and another ticket selected.
- One Person: Tape the ticket to the basket.
- One person dump remaining tickets in the trash
- One Person: Record and match basket # and winning ticket on provided sheets.
Doors close promptly at 4 PM and will not open up to the public before 5:30 PM unless all tickets are pulled before that time.
Once all tickets are pulled, we will need checkers at the doors to match the winners ticket with the ticket on the basket prior to leaving the room.
