Membership Coordinator

Role Overview:


We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Membership Coordinator volunteer to join the membership committee. The ideal candidate is passionate about community building, member engagement, and providing excellent customer service. This position will provide hands-on experience in membership management, outreach, and event coordination, supporting the growth and retention of our member base.


Key Responsibilities:


* Member Engagement: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to engage and retain members.
* Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
* Membership Database: Maintain and update the membership database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Outreach: Conduct outreach to potential members through various channels, including email, phone, and social media.
* Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of member events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
* Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze member feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance member satisfaction.
* Reporting: Generate reports on membership trends, engagement metrics, and other relevant data.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and events teams to promote membership benefits and opportunities.


Requirements:


* Skills:
    * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    * Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
    * Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    * Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
    * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Hours: Varies per week, hours are limited. Might include evenings and weekends for specific events.
