Collegiate Performing Arts Showcase Production Student Internship
Attention Lehigh Valley college students! Would you like to be a part of a ground floor, innovative nonprofit intercollegiate charity program supporting both humanitarian causes and the performing arts in the Lehigh Valley? Catch Our Risings Stars is a program sponsored by the a 5013 (c) (3) charity Humanitarian Social Innovations.
Catch Our Rising Stars (CORS) is co-hosting a performing arts showcase this year with Northampton Community College on September 20th. Last year was our first show and was a smashing success with performers from four colleges.
We are looking for college students who would like to become involved with helping to promote the current showcase on September 20th as well as to continue to be a part of the production team through the academic year of 2026-2027. Students will evaluate this year’s program and become a part of helping to plan next year’s showcase in conjunction with the production team. This is a unique opportunity to help plan and produce a theatrical showcase for the Lehigh Valley community, both supporting student performing arts, while giving back to local charitable causes.
This position would be great potential internship opportunity over the course on the academic year that you could present to your academic institution. The program is hoping to expand to form a coalition of students who would be interested in producing, promoting and performing in the annual showcase in conjuction with our staff. Students will be expected to network with other schools to help organize the intercollegiate coalition.
We would be looking for students to work intermittently at their campuses, remotely with perhaps an occasional meeting as our organization develops. We would hope students could commit to the academic year. If possible, they could finish with helping at the following yeats showcase. Time committment would be minimal to begin at your own pace. However, some flexibility in scheduling would be helpful.
