The Boys & Girls Club of Allentown is looking for a Volunteer Receptionist to join us at our Turner Street Location! Our sites need someone to engage with club members and visitors at the front desk. Gain experience working with youth while building organizational skills!
Position Title: Volunteer Receptionist
Supervisor: Unit Director
Essential Duties:
- Greeting people who enter the Clubhouse
- Check members in and out as they leave
- Operate doorbell
- Interface with parents and vendors as they arrive
- Maintain guest list and name tags for visitors
- Process member payments.
- Keep the desk area clean and organized.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- FBI Fingerprinting clearance, Child Abuse clearance, Background Check
- Bilingual in Spanish/English appreciated, not required
- Experience with children preferred, not required
Commitment: 8am to 12 pm in the summer, 3pm to 7 pm during the school year
