Activities Assistant (Three Locations!)
Do you love games, creativity, and high‑energy fun? Join us as a youth Activities Assistant and help bring unforgettable experiences to the kids at our Club. You’ll support staff with daily activities, from arts and crafts to sports, projects, tournaments, and special events. The sites need someone to help engage with and monitor the kids in different activities, and to help with teaching them new skills. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with youth, encouraging teamwork, and adding a spark of joy to every session. No experience needed — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude. Come help us make the Club the best part of a kid’s day.
Position Title: Activities Assistant
Supervisor: Unit Director
Essential Duties:
- Engage with youth ages 6-18 in individual and group activities
- Monitor internet usage
- Assist with gym activities (basketball games and various activities)
- Assist in teaching different crafts like crochet and painting
- Help out with hydroponic garden and cooking classes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- FBI Fingerprinting clearance, Child Abuse clearance, Background Check
- Bilingual in Spanish/English appreciated, not required
- Experience with children preferred, not required
Commitment: at least 2 hours once a month, anytime from 3pm to 7 pm in the fall, or 8am to 5 pm in the summer.
