Basket Raffle Ticket Registration

  • Technical requirement:

    • You must be comfortable using a laptop and entering information into a spreadsheet (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets).

🎟️ Incentive

  • If you sign up through the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley website, you’ll receive one sheet of raffle tickets (25 tickets) as a thank-you gift.

 

📋 Role & Responsibilities

  • Recording ticket data:

    • You’ll be logging each raffle sheet sold—capturing the buyer’s name, phone number, and ticket number—into a spreadsheet on a provided laptop.

    • You’ll be paired with someone handling cash or payments; your focus is on data entry.

⏰ Shift Times

There are three shifts spread across Friday and Saturday PLEASE make sure you are signing up under the correct date and time that you would like to volunteer for:

  1. Friday, from 5 PM to 8:00 PM

  2. Saturday has two separate blocks:

    • 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Noon)

    • 12:00 PM (Noon) to 4:000 PM

  • Note the overlap between 12:00 PM–12:30 PM on Saturday; double-check when signing up whether you’re in the morning or afternoon block (or intended to cover both).

 

🎁 Raffle Details

  • This is the Mega Basket Raffle, featuring over 400 prizes.

  • A high volume of ticket sales is expected over the two days—so data entry needs to be accurate and efficient.

🗓️ Deadline

  • Doors close promptly at 4:00 PM on September 6th, so all ticket information must be entered and finalized by that time.

  5. Complete everything before the end of your shift.
