5th Grade Reality Fair – Volunteers Needed!
Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
Volunteer Start Time: 9:00 AM
Volunteer End Time: 12:00 PM
We're excited to host a Reality Fair for our 5th grade students, where they'll get a fun, hands-on experience learning about real-life responsibilities like budgeting, decision-making, and managing expenses.
Each class will visit the Reality Fair for a 40-minute session and rotate through 9 interactive stations. These stations cover topics like housing, transportation, food, health care, taxes, and more, giving students a peek into adult life in a fun and engaging way!
We are looking for 20 volunteers to help run the stations. No experience needed. We’ll provide everything you need to guide the students. (Descriptions and support will be shared in advance.)
A few stations involve a bit more math or explanation (Stations 2 – Health Care, 6 – Taxes, and 8 – Vacation Planning), so we’ll place volunteers accordingly.
