Special Olympics PA - Head Coaches
Experience the Joy of Special Olympics as a head coach! Head coaches lead and organize their team of athletes and volunteers to create a comprehensive sport training program. They teach the skills and instill the spirit that defines a true athlete.
While specific sports knowledge/experience is helpful, we also offer coach training opportunities and resources, as well as support from our staff and coaches.
We have 4 sport seasons: spring (track & field, basketball, gymnastics (artistic & rhythmic), swimming, and tennis), summer (golf and softball), fall (bocce, long distance running/walking, powerlifting, soccer, and volleyball), and winter (alpine skiing, bowling, floorball, snowboarding, and snowshoeing). Currently, we are searching for the following head coaches:
- Volleyball in Lehigh County
- Bowling in Lehigh County
- Swimming in Bethlehem
- Bocce in Schuylkill County
- Bocce in Carbon County
