Wilson Area LINCS is Recruiting Committee Members!

The Wilson Area LINCS Coalition for Families and Youth is seeking community members to help operate essential organizational projects and programs—and we would love for you to be part of the work.

Committee service is a meaningful, hands-on way to contribute your skills, experience, and passion in support of children, families, and youth in our community. You do not need to be a Board member to participate.

Time Commitment:
Approximately 1–3 hours per month (mostly virtual meetings and remote work)

Current Committee Opportunities Include:

  • Institutional Advancement Committee – donor cultivation, communications, grants
  • Finance Committee – financial oversight and sustainability
  • Summer Program Committee – planning and oversight of summer programming
  • Teaching Garden Committee – supporting school-based garden initiatives
  • Communities That Care (CTC) Committee – prevention-focused youth initiatives
  • Events Committee – planning and supporting community events and fundraisers
  • Food Access Committee – addressing hunger and basic needs

Committee service is flexible, impactful, and vital to our mission of Linking Individual Needs to Community Services. Whether you bring professional expertise or simply a desire to give back locally, there is a place for you at LINCS.

Interested in getting involved or learning more?
Email LINCS@wilsonareasd.org to express your interest or request additional information.

Help strengthen our programs, share the workload, and be part of a collaborative effort that makes a real difference in the Wilson Area community.

We look forward to connecting with you!
