Needed: Photographer for Family Christmas Photos
The Salvation Army Children's Services is looking for a photographer or two to join us at our annual Christmas party to take pictures of our foster and adoptive families. We will provide the backdrop and bench (see sample below from last year's party). The photographer will help to pose/arrange families as they come in and then capture at least one beautiful card-worthy shot of each family. Images can be returned to us in whatever way is most comfortable for the photographer (i.e. password protected gallery, Google Drive, flash drive, Dropbox, etc.) and we do request that they are turned around within a few days to give families the option of using them for their Christmas cards if they would like. You don't have to worry about identifying families in the photos or communicating with individual families about their photos - as long as you get the photos to us, we will take care of the rest!
Throughout the party, the children will also have the opportunity to visit with Santa, and it would be wonderful if the photographer was willing to stick around and take photos with Santa as well. We are also open to having two separate photographers, one to do the family portraits and another to do Santa photos.
Please note: We will be very happy to give you a shout-out on our social media but due to confidentiality surrounding children in foster care, you WILL NOT be able to use photos taken at our party as part of your profile or on any of your personal/business web or social media pages.
