Literacy Volunteer for Allentown School District Elementary Schools
Assist with literacy activities in Pre-K through Grade 3 by providing individual or small-group support under the guidance of classroom teachers in the Allentown School District. Volunteers should be 18 or older, possess strong English communication and interpersonal skills, and be patient and adaptable. Clearances and attendance at a one hour orientation are required. Hours and days are flexible, but volunteers must be willing to commit to a regular schedule of at least one hour per week.
