Gift Shop Clerk - Mondays 8:45am - 3:15pm
Gracedale Nursing Home is looking for a volunteer to run the Gift Shop on Mondays. Gift Shop hours are 9a-3p, with a lunch break from 12:00-12:30p (lunch voucher for cafeteria will be provided). Volunteer would need to arrive a few minutes early to count the register drawer before the store opens and stay a few minutes after to count the register drawer at the end of the day.
Essential duties include:
Provide excellent customer service to guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere.
Display patience and sensitivity to the needs and requests of residents and other visitors.
Stock shelves as needed, arranging items in a visually appealing manner.
Rotates stock to ensure continuously fresh merchandising.
Organize greeting cards.
Ability to use computerized point of sale system (Clover device), which processes both cash and credit card transactions.
