Volunteer Opportunities at Lehigh Valley Zoo
Hello Zoo Volunteers-
Summer is in full swing at LV Zoo. Our calendar is full of special events to help our guests enjoy the sunshine and create family memories. In order to bring these special events to our guests, we are in need of a few more volunteers.
Run Wild - Saturday August 9 630am - 1030am- Please note this event is early in the morning! Have your coffee ready! We are in need of 15 additional volunteers to assist with check in and course check points and management.
Bluey Bash- Monday August 18 - 930am - 4pm - We are in need of 10 additional volunteers for assisting with parking lot management, character crowd control, and craft tables. We are expecting a large number of guests for this event.
Brew at the Zoo - Saturday September 13 2pm - 6pm (event is 3-6pm)- We are looking for 8 additional volunteers to help with customer check in table and ID checks, and craft tables. The zoo normally closes at 4pm, so this would be considered an afterhours event.
Fall Wine Festival - Saturday September 27 - 930am - 4pm - We are looking for an additional 10 volunteers to assist with customer check in and ID checks, and craft tables.
Ottertoberfest - Saturday October 4 930-4pm - We are looking for an additional 10 volunteers to assist with customer check in, ID checks, and craft tables.
Boo At The Zoo - October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 - We are in need of about 20-25 volunteers per day to help with parking lot management, craft tables, and handing out candy to guests. Costumes encouraged!
If you are able to assist with any of these volunteer opprotunities please go to lvzoo.org and complete a volunteer application. I will process the application on my side and grant you access to the volunteer portal and the calendar of events. Once you have access to the calendar you can sign-up for any event that fits your schedule.
