Board Members
Our Board members are actively involved in both providing leadership and serving. Charting the course thorough strategic planning, making budgeting/fiduciary decisions, policy development, and resource development are typical responsibilities. Board members also volunteer hands-on time at the Food Bank and participate in occasional special events. Using your particular skills and interests in support of our mission -relief to the hungry – is most important.
Whatever your background or area of expertise, we would like to have a conversation with you. Since many of our clients are Spanish-speaking and/or elderly, experience with those populations or community services would be especially valuable to the Food Bank. But most important is a willingness to help us succeed in our mission. Could you be the Board member who could make a difference? Let’s discuss!
