Roosevelt Reality Fair

5th Grade Reality Fair – Volunteers Needed!
Date: Thursday, May 22, 2025
Volunteer Start Time: 9:00 AM
Volunteer End Time: 12:00 PM
We're excited to host a Reality Fair for our 5th grade students, where they'll get a fun, hands-on experience learning about real-life responsibilities like budgeting, decision-making, and managing expenses.
Each class will visit the Reality Fair for a 40-minute session and rotate through 9 interactive stations. These stations cover topics like housing, transportation, food, health care, taxes, and more — giving students a peek into adult life in a fun and engaging way!
We are looking for 19 volunteers to help run the stations. No experience needed — we’ll provide everything you need to guide the students. (Descriptions and support will be shared in advance.)
A few stations involve a bit more math or explanation (Stations 2 – Health Care, 6 – Taxes, and 8 – Vacation Planning), so we’ll place volunteers accordingly.
