About the Role:
As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping and growing our volunteer program. You’ll manage recruitment, scheduling, and communication with volunteers, while also participating hands-on in our volunteer initiatives. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to lead by example, foster community engagement, and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for ongoing programs and special events

Serve as the primary point of contact for all volunteer-related matters

Organize and maintain volunteer schedules and documentation

Collaborate with staff and community partners to identify volunteer needs

Participate actively in volunteer projects, modeling dedication and teamwork

Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions
Qualifications:

Strong organizational and communication skills

A heart for service and a collaborative spirit

Experience in volunteer coordination, community organizing, or a related field preferred

Ability to commit to a consistent schedule and take initiative
