Collecting Empty Shoeboxes from Online Orders
We already have a team of volunteers collecting empty shoeboxes from local stores, but the supplies are small.
It has been brough to our attention that because many people are ordering their footwear online, they perhaps have a pile of empty shoeboxes ready for the recycling - BUT! Why not collect them and donate them to our Holiday Hope Chests program?!
Contact your family members & friends and wrangle these random, empty shoeboxes.
Drop them off at our office in the Banana Factory, 25 West 3rd St, Bethlehem 18015, any weekday 9AM-4PM,
OR you can drop them at Cancer Support Community, 944 Marcon Blvd, #110, Allentown 18109, M-W-Th 9AM-3PM.
We encourage you - but it is not required - to wrap the shoeboxes with winter themed paper before dropping them off. Make sure the lid is wrapped separately! Watch this video for a lesson on wrapping shoeboxes with lids attached: https://youtu.be/Uug4iSzprCo
