Saturday Morning Food Pantry at Allentown Church
The Allentown Evangelical Wesleyan Church is a Second Harvest Member Agency.
Strong volunteers (individuals or a group of 5) are needed for food distribution on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:30 to approximately 12:00 pm.
Face masks and gloves are required and are available.
Volunteers will arrange all food items on tables first, and then we open the Pantry at 10:00 am. The consumers register and then they choose the items for thier box. Some of our senior consumers will need help navigating the steps and/or selecting their items.
Need training in Civil Rights and safe food handling. Training is provided.
Volunteers must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. Age limit: 18
