Opportunity Details

HIV Planning/Funding Board Member

Consider becoming a member of the AIDSNET Board of Directors.  As a member of the Board you will help oversee our organization's mission of Building Healthier Communities by Planning and Funding HIV/AIDS Care and Prevention Services in the six counties of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill.  We do not provide direct care.  Our main goal is to help our funded agencies provide quality HIV services.  All meetings are held every other month at 31 S. Commerce Way, Suite 400, Bethlehem, PA 18017 (with option to join meetings virtually).

In addition to any community members, we could benefit from the expertise of a lawyer, member of the clergy, a physician, or a CPA to provide a varied set of experiences. This is not an inclusive list, just a number of skill sets that would benefit the Board's growth.  Knowledge of HIV is not a requirement; just a desire to help guide services in the region and work toward ending this epidemic.

Must reside in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton or Schuylkill County.
