Rock N' Run - Committee Member
Want to help plan what has been voted "the most entertaining race in the Lehigh Valley?" Then join our Rock N Run 4 Kids Committee!
The Salvation Army Children’s Services is seeking energetic individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of foster children and families in the Lehigh Valley. The 8th Annual Rock N Run 4 Kids is a 10K, 5K and Kids Fun Run to be held in May during National Foster Care Month.
This annual event is held at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs baseball team. The event benefits The Salvation Army Children's Services, and enables us to provide more help to children in foster care in the Lehigh Valley community.
This volunteer opportunity is flexible, with the ability to do much of the work on your own time. Group meetings are held once a month in the early evening, which we hope you can attend. No special skills required. Just a desire to help children in need and plan an even more exciting event this year!
