Museum Greeter (Gift Shop Assistant)
As a Museum Greeter, you are the first person that our visitors meet. Greeters welcome guests to the museum, handle gift shop retail sales and provide basic information in response to questions asked by those visiting.
All Greeters must feel comfortable using the cash register. Additional responsibilities include keeping the gift shop tidy, and ensuring that all shelves are stocked and properly organized.
This opportunity is perfect for the volunteer with a sunny disposition who enjoys meeting other people. Interest in Native American history and culture is helpful, but not required. No other special knowledge is required.
Volunteer greeters are needed during regular summer hours of operation, Thursday thru Sunday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Greeters should volunteer a minimum of one 6 hour shift weekly.
