Winter Lights Spectacular at the LVZoo 2020!
Our annual Winter Lights Spectacular is back! Starting November 13th and running to January 2nd this year has over 1.2 million lights for our guests to enjoy. We are looking for volunteers to join our LVZoo Special Events team to help make this year's event even more fun! Tickets to this years Winter Lights Spectacular are being sold in advance online with limitied numbers and timed entry in order to maintain capacty limitations for guests to be able to maintain proper socia distancing.
To keep safety in mind all volunteers, staff, and guests will be asked to wear face masks and practice appropriate social distancing. Volunteers and staff will also have their temperatures taken as well as be asked to follow all CDC and state COVID guidelines, especially pertaining to travel and self quarantine. A one-way path will guide guests around the zoo as they enjoy the lights and activities. Crafts will be bagged to go in a goody bag style for guests to enjoy creating at home.
Shifts for Wednesdays and Thursdays will be from 5:30-10pm and Friday to Sunday from 4:30-10pm. Volunteers will be assigned to help in a variety of locations such as our concession stands, craft booth, activities booths, attending fire pits, photo booth station, and more! As a 'thank you' for volunteers completing a full shift at Winter Lights will be given a daytime Zoo admission ticket. They can trade 4 daytime tickets into 1 Winter Lights ticket!
