Flemming Memory Center of LVH
Want to make a meaningful impact on the life of an elderly person?
We are looking for people to be friendly visitors in seniors' homes/apartments; the clients have been diagnosed with dementia but are still living on their own. You will receive training and then be placed with a client requesting the service from the Fleming Memory Center at Lehigh Valley Health Network-17th Street. Visits will be for 1-2 hours at a time and include engaging in conversation, doing a puzzle, playing a game, watching and talking about a television show.
No medical care or housekeeping will be required of the volunteer at any time.
