Office Administrator Volunteer - Second Harvest Food Bank



Job Summary
The Office Administrator volunteer provides general administrative support to the Second Harvest Food Bank front office staff. This position will interact and communicate with staff, donors, and people in need seeking food and information.

The Second Harvest office is open Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Shifts can be flexible.




Provide clerical support including: typing, filing, data entry, and photocopying

Answer the telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff

Answer phone calls from people-in-need seeking food assistance, and provide information for where they can find help

Provide excellent customer service




Must possess excellent communication and customer service and skills, have some experience with clerical duties and data entry (computer work), and be comfortable answering phones.
