National Canal Museum Greeter
The Greeter is responsible for managing visitor traffic coming in and out of the museum. This position serves as the first and last contact for visitors to the National Canal Museum. This person sets the tone for the visit and strives to ensure visitor’s needs and hopefully expectations were met. This position is under the general supervision of the Visitor Service Coordinator who provides broad guidance and assistance in completion of assigned tasks, and any policy related issues. Abilities required include friendly and welcoming demeanor, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Volunteer, Seasonal, Hours based on availability and desired commitment, but preferred minimum of 6-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:18+
