Forums

Educational forums provide nonprofit leaders an opportunity to share experiences and learn new practices and methods to benefit their role and their organization. Topics are directed by nonprofit leaders and outside facilitators assist in the discussion. All sessions listed below will be 12:00PM to 1:15PM virtual on Zoom.

Meet the Funders - Effective Reporting and Feedback: Wednesday, March 25. Reports can do more than satisfy a deadline or be the last step in the funding process. They can also be an intentional tool for relationship-building and impact communication. Join this session to hear from Heather Turoczi of United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and Laura Kaplus of Harry C. Trexler Trust about what makes reports meaningful and how nonprofits can better tell their story.

You'll leave with a practical checklist of high-impact actions and reminders organized by fundraising discipline, helping you allocate time and resources where they'll generate the greatest return.

Sponsorships Join Lehigh Valley Health Network and Olympus to gain insights in to the “donors” side of the sponsorship process and crafting compelling proposals. Our discussion will cover key elements of successful sponsorship submissions, including aligning with a sponsor's objectives, articulating your organization's impact, and detailing the tangible returns for funders.

Navigating EITC Funding Join us for a "Meet the Funders" session focused on Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. We will hear from 2 organizations that fund EITC and one nonprofit that leverages the program. Nonprofit leaders and fundraisers will gain knowledge on how the program works and hear directly from funders and nonprofits currently supporting or leveraging EITC.
