MLK Service at Worthwhile Thrift Helping Survivors of Human Trafficking

Worthwhile Wear works to restore survivors of human trafficking in our community through long-term housing, community outreach, and thirft store sustainability.  We are looking for some folks to help support survivors of human trafficking in Bucks County and the surrounding communities.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at our Worthwhile Thrifts store in Plumsteadville.  Volunteer opportunities range from simple/basic to skilled/carpentry.  So, if you're interested in volunteering this MLK day and want to help our efforts in restoring survivors of human trafficking, below is a list of tasks for which we can use your help!

 

Simple Projects 

  • Organize donations
  • Tagging new items
  • Put donations out onto the floor
  • Pulling old color tags
  • General organization
  • General cleaning- swiffer/vacuum floors, wipe down kitchen, dust, etc. (3-4 people for a 4 hour shift)
