Trauma-Friendly Therapy Room for Kids!
We are currently looking for a group of volunteers to create a brand new Trauma Therapy Room for foster and adoptive children. The room is currently a blank canvas that could use a fresh coat of paint, furniture, decorations and storage. We want the small space to be warm and inviting to children and their families. It must be clean and organized... because kids can get overwhelmed with clutter just like us! An added bonus would be a chalkboard wall or maybe even a kid-friendly mural!
The goal is to have the therapy room ready to go by the new year. Ideally we'd like a volunteer group to transform the space in December or early January.
