Community BBQ Helpers
Empowerment Pathways is holding a community event structured to thank clients and volunteers for their ongoing support, to introduce ourselves to the community and to raise funds for our community programs. There will be food, games and educational information for everyone in attendance. Games for kids, with small prizes, educational printouts on topics related to mental health and related topics and raffles as fundraisers.
We need vollunteers for the following areas:
1, Helping with food and related items
- sweets
- paper goods (plates/napkins)
- cups
- utensils
2. Leading activities for kids
- coloring station
- games center
- indoor games
- outdoor games
3. Raffle coordinator
- Manage the raffle "baskets" (there are 4-6 raffle baskets)
- Be able to manage online raffle participation as well
- announce the winner at the end of the day
4. Safety monitor
- Monitor for safety near the street (the BBQ is in the parking lot)
