Century Café & Gift Shoppe Salesperson
Volunteers are needed to work in the Century Café & Gift Shoppe. The volunteer will be responsible for running the cash register to accept payments from residents, guests, and employees. When necessary, duties will include assisting residents in getting cold brew coffee, hot coffee, and/or something from the cold case. As well as helping them see jewelry, knickknacks, or other offerings of the Gift Shoppe. No prior experience in sales or with a cash register is needed as training from the Community Life Gift Shoppe Coordinator will be provided. Light cleanup of crumbs and/or small coffee spills on the counter is required, as needed. The length of your shift is determined by you! Help of any duration such two hours or longer is gratefully accepted. Monday – Friday … 8:30am to 4:30pm
This individual would need to go through the volunteer application process, including TB testing, background check, and proof of initial COVID vaccinations.
While you are volunteering, Phoebe provides you with a free meal.
