Volunteer Position Description: Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts Docent
Are you a museum expert? If so, this is the perfect fit for you!
Tour guides at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts lead guests through the museum while presenting a lively and educational narrative about the changing styles of the decorative arts over more than three centuries. Tour guides answer visitor questions and help guests to step back in time as they learn about the antiques, textiles, and other decorative artworks of days gone by.
Docents will receive training on the museum tour and additional information related to the collections, and are expected to provide an engaging tour experience for visitors of all ages.
