Senior Shoebox Program
Give Christmas to a senior citizen at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehab in Allentown.
The Community Outreach committee is collecting items for filling shoe boxes that will benefit the less fortunate seniors at Cedarbrook in Allentown, who may not have any family or friends to visit during the holiday season.
Suggested items include, but are not limited to:
Scented lotions, powders, after shave, cologne; combs & brushes; hankies; small change purse & wallets; colored pencils; adult coloring books; find-a-word puzzle books; soft chocolates (NO nuts) & caramels; small packs of cookies, crackers, etc.; hair accessories, barrettes, hair clips, head bands, etc.; nail polish & lip stick/gloss; costume jewelry; thin neck scarves; men’s sport team caps; travel mugs/ adult sip cups; small stuffed animals or novelties; soft fluffy socks/footies; single packs of flavoring for water.
Drop off locations: Lehigh Valley Business Group, 4418 Wagner Dr, Bethlehem; or Crave, 77 W Broad St #11c, Bethlehem (entrance on Guetter St); or
3320 Oxford Circle S, Allentown (green tub in front of garage)
