Historic Bethlehem Grounds Maintenance
Calling all landscape enthusiasts!
The grounds of the many Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites add so much beauty to our community. Volunteers like you make that possible!
Groundskeeping volunteers help to maintain and beautify the grounds of twenty historic sites.
This includes:
- Mowing
- Trimming
- Edging
- Leaf Blowing
- General care and maintenance of grounds
Groundskeeping volunteers will report to the Director of Operatiions.
A minimum commitment of two (1-3 hour) shifts per month is required. Shift scheduling is very flexible.
Volunteers must be able to stand, bend, kneel, twist, and lift up to 30lbs. Volunteers should also be comfortable operating equipment including but not limited to:
- Lawn Mower
- Headge Trimmer
- Leaf Blower
- Weed Whacker
Relevant training and tools will be provided and the Director of Operations will be availbe for questions and assistance. Volunteers are welcome to use their own tools if preffered.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
