Hands-on-History Camp High School Volunteers Needed!
The Moravian Historical Society in Nazareth is looking for several high school students to assist during their Hands-On History Camp which will be held on June 18th through the 22nd and June 25th through 29th. This camp is a fun opportunity for kids ages 8 to 12 to go hands-on with history through expert-led activities exploring science, math, engineering, arts, and the humanities.
Volunteers will assist in setting up and cleaning up each day, and will also help group leaders with activities. Help is needed from 9am to 3pm each day of camp, and volunteers should be able to attend either one or both full weeks. Applicants should be responsible, with a demonstrated record of community service and a desire to work with children. Childcare experience is helpful. References are requested.
Volunteers 18 years of age are required by state law to obtain background checks – we will assist you in obtaining these, if necessary.
