Community Cleanup Day at The Moravian Historical Society
Please join us on Saturday, May 5th from 10am - 2pm to help us beautify the grounds of the historic Whitefield House and Gray Cottage in Nazareth! By volunteering at the Historical Society, you will gain valuable volunteer hours for school, the community or yourself, and most importantly you will help preserve local history for generations to come! We will be filling in holes, picking up branches and doing some general gardening to prepare for our upcoming Annual Arts & Crafts Festival on June 2nd! We welcome volunteers aged 14+, outdoor tools will be provided (feel free to bring your own) and light refreshments will be served but bring your own lunch. Once the cleanup is completed we welcome you to visit our museum featuring hundreds of years Moravian History!
Our organization relies on volunteers to provide the wonderful programming we have throughout the year including our Historic Nazareth Walking Tours, Whitefield After Dark Lecture Series and our Youth History Camps! We greatly appreciate our volunteers and their service to the Lehigh Valley community and hope you can join us for our community cleanup day!
