Share a Hobby or Special Interest
Organize and lead a 1-1.5 hour activity on a hobby or special interest (i.e. arts & crafts, jewelry making, crochet, painting, origami, bird house, wood working, recycled plastic bag mats) with neighbors who are socially isolated or homeless at our community center in center city Allentown.
Volunteers are asked to provide all materials necessary for their activity.
We are looking to offer this opportunity twice every month, between 1:30-3:30pm at the center with the day of your choice from Wednesday-Saturday.
Offering an activity at the community center will help build connections and foster community across social and economic boundaries.
