Therapeutic Riding Team
Love horses, kids, and helping others? We have a volunteer opportunity for you! Manito Life Center offers therapeutic riding to both children and adults with special needs and disabilities. We operate year round, 7 days a week, and are in need of volunteers to help in sessions. All volunteers will receive training overseen by our Program Director and Head Instructor, Jennifer Lomastro. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have parent or guardian accompany them during the entire training unless pre-approved by Manito staff. Volunteer roles include, but are not limited to the following: side walking horse handling grooming/tacking up general horse care before and/or after session tack cleaning/prep before and/or after session No experience needed.
