Competition Coordinator needed for Bethlehem Special Olympics
Bethlehem Special Olympics is in need of a Competition Coordinator. This person would be responsible for all aspects of sports competition for local program coaches and athletes. Along with the Training Coordinator the Competition Coordinator would host pre-season coaches meetings 2-3 times a year. The Competition Coordinator would be in charge of planning and over seeing all local competitions, ensure all competitions are registered with forms and paperwork submitted for program’s delegation for advanced competitions. The current Competition Coordinator can help with a transition period. Attendance at monthly management team meetings is required. Meetings are normally held in the evenings on the second Monday of each month. This position requires someone who is proficient with email, Microsoft Excel, and able to easily learn new programs.
