Horse Feed Team

Manito Life Center will need assistance daily for feed team.  Training will be provided to those approved for this volunteer opportunity. 
Feed team will begin at approximately 3 PM daily and will end usually between 5 PM and 7 PM depending on number of people on feed team.  
Feed team includes feeding grain and hay, turning out horses for the evening, cleaning stalls, cleaning water buckets, general barn cleaning (sweeping, etc.), prepping grain for the following day, and other general barn work.  
By helping us care for our horses this will directly assist Manito Life Center participants.  Please note, not all feed team members will be required to complete all above listed tasks.  Younger team members may only be assigned to clean stalls, for example.  Horse handling is reserved for older teens or adults, unless volunteer is an active, approved Manito Student.  
All Manito Life Center volunteers must be approved, trained, and any adult 18 and over must have background checks and clearances prior to volunteering.  Also, it is not required to join feed team daily or weekly.  Manito is accepting volunteers with flexible schedules.
