MLK Day - Office Help Needed
As we continue to improve our agency procedures, we are asking for your help to reach our 2020 goal of going digital with our file archive process! Join us on Monday, January 20th to review and prep confidential foster care files to be digtially scanned. This will not only reduce the massive storage space needed for paper files, but will also give our team the ability to search and send archived documents online! A faster workflow AND a space saver - win win!
Your job will be to page through each file, prepping the papers to be run through a scanner. This involves removing staples, flattening out bent corners and separating odd shaped items like photos, business cards, etc. Once the file is prepped, you will insert the papers carefully into boxes provided by our digital file company. A staff member will join your team to answer questions and to track all files being boxed.
Due to the sensitive information in some of the files being reviewed, we are looking for an adult-only volunteer group. Subject matter may not be appropriate for children and teens. Confidentiality releases will need to be signed by all volunteers taking part with this opportunity.
