Easter Baskets for Shelter Families
The Sixth Street Shelter is seeking volunteers to donate Easter baskets for our kids in residence. We have about 90 children at the shelter right now and would love to be able to brighten their holiday with some Easter cheer! You can create an assembled basket for a girl or boy, or donate items to go into a basket. Some ideas: chocolate or candy, small stuffed animals (new only), yo-yo or other small toys, coloring or activity books, card games, stickers.
We are accepting donation in our rear parking lot Mondays through Fridays, between 10 AM and 1 PM. Please call 610-435-1490 when you arrive and a staff member will come out to assist you. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
