Install Free Smoke Alarms! SAVE LIVES!!
The Red Cross SOUND THE ALARM Campaign returns to the Lehigh Valley -- and we need your help! During these one-day events, the Red Cross works alongside local fire departments and members of the community distributing & installing free smoke alarms and sharing fire-safety tips. Everything is provided -- including equipment, supplies, training (no prior experience required), even breakfast and lunch! Everybody is welcomed to help, including friends, neighbors and family members (13 years+ with adult supervision.) This is one of those rare Red Cross events open to both current Red Cross volunteers and members of the public. Come as an individual or come with your group. If your group has its own logoed hats, shirts or apparel, wear that so the public and invited media sees your commitment. It's fun. It's easy. Plus you are helping to SAVE LIVES!!!
