Summer Picnics with our Residents in July & August
On various days in July & August we will have a picnic planned for some of our residents. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be outdoors enjoying foods from the grill, entertainment and fellowship! If there is rainy weather, we will move everything indoors, so these are Rain or Shine events!
Volunteers (minimum age 13, or entering 8th grade) are needed to help transport residents to and from their rooms before and after the picnic. There will time for volunteers to visit with the residents during the picnic and just enjoy the food & conversation. Some residents may need help carrying their food to the tables.
To make an large event like this a success we need help from 15-20 volunteers. If individuals or large groups are interested, please select the date below by clicking the sign up button.
