Walk for a Healthy Community

Thank you to all businesses and individuals who walked or sponsored a walker in 2011 to donate to our Holiday Hope Chests program!
The Walk for a Healthy Community is a fundraiser sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield that benefits local nonprofit health and human service agencies in the Lehigh Valley, including the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley.
The 5K Walk starts and finishes in SteelStacks.
Highmark Blue Shield underwrites the cost of the walk so that 100 percent of the money raised by walkers goes directly to support our Holiday Hope Chests Program.
